I have been itching to have a song like this exist. My friend Zacherie is exactly this. I am unsure of what kind of entity he is...but he has definitely been there for a long time. Last December, my half-brother died.
This January, his son was born.

I hope I can manage to learn this song for my little nephew. My half-brother was called "The Wolf" by his friends, so I'll teach my nephew that since he's the son of the big bad wolf, no monster is allowed to harm him.

This song reminds me of a story I read somewhere about a child not fearing the monster under their bed because the human monster (their dad or step dad, I think) was much scarier and would come in at night to abuse them. This made the monster under their bad angry and they promised to protect the child and when they did, the child slept better at night.
