Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson is dealing with a turf toe injury and was expected by head coach Mike Tomlin to be limited in the early portion of the week's practice session as the Steelers prepare for their Week 16 game against the Las Vegas Raiders this Saturday night.

Johnson remained limited on Thursday, but found a way to contribute by throwing passes to his fellow receivers in drills instead of running and catching.

The team will release its final injury report for the game on Thursday afternoon.

I mean, whatever it is, Canada, trick play, or some form of limited practice... i like it. johnson is always up and down, some weeks hes great, others hes not... but overall while ive had my criticisms he's a good Steeler overall... i like this both for Johnson and Canada is getting comfortable enough with the guys, he can start going to a next level in high schemes... while im no Canada fan, it could be he schemes are more complex than the players have been showing to handle, but are finally turning a corner... i know im giving Canada way too much credit, but id rather see the Steelers come out and surprise us from all levels, than root for them to look like shit to confirm my criticisms... Go Steelers... just play hard, all i ask
