Amnesty accuses Israel of Gaza genocide

Amnesty International has accused Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

The report published by the humans rights group says the IDF has committed acts forbidden by the Genocide Convention 1948.

This includes indiscriminate killing of civilians, denying aid and destroying vital infrastructure.

Israel has dismissed the findings as 'entirely false'.

Tragic as this conflict is, calling it 'genocide' ignores Hamas’ tactics of using civilians as shields while attacking Israel. Israel defends itself and even warns civilians before strikes—unheard of in war. Civilians deserve peace, but peace starts by holding Hamas accountable for putting them in harm's way.
