This is the first of four gigs U2 did at the TD Gardens in Boston on their Innocence + Experience Tour. The band play a good gig here. The Miracle is a good rendition and a great way to open up the show. Edge plays a perfect Electric Co solo here. A fan from San Diego comes onstage during Mysterious Ways, the crowd boo because of the fact she comes from San Diego. Someone was live streaming the show in the crowd and the phone was brought onstage for Elevation. Moment Of Surrender was snippets twice on Beautiful Day and Bad, and Shine Like Stars makes a rare appearance during With Or Without You. There are good renditions of other songs like Cedarwood Road, Raised By Wolves, Invisible, Ordinary Love, Bullet, and the impromptu “40”, which Bono decides to do on the spot. Overall, a good show to start off this four night run in Boston.
