Does command prompt supports ANSI escape sequences, would be nice if it does, and tabs too.

Oh! How do multiple screens interact with virtual desktops. There's a possible coupling there where some extra awesomeness could be squeezed in.

When is Windows 10 coming out? The full release. I have the preview, and I'm loving it so far.

I'm finding I'm still using Start8. The issue I am having with the Win10 start menu is that actual programs aren't prioritized in search, so for example "Services" should bring up the Services administrative tool as the first choice, but it doesn't. It brings back random Bing results.

I have a 32 Gb dell venue 8 pro, I am wondering how the dell tablets work with this. when you download it on yours can you upload a video about it?

zPCSettings was there in Build 9860 too, but with more * mark entries. I like the new Menu of Win 10, but not that you show from hidden menu, that is not cool. Stay with original Win10 is my desire.

System Compression is not available - I did a clean install and on a separate machine I did an upgrade and on both machines I do not have the "System Compression" option in the disk cleanup utility. If I just run the cleanup app it only gives me 6 options to clean but if I run it as an administrator I then have 9 choices but no "System Compression". Does anyone else not have this option?

I don't like this semi-mobile version of startup menu which is turned on by registry key 'UseExperience'

Hello!
I have a really big problem with the latest preview.
To start with the latest preview wont update at the first time so it automaticlly go back to the 41 version.
When it does update sometimes there are some programs that wont open and stuff i doesn't work that good.
I have been removing the old update so it won't be in the background, and here is the biggest thing.
I'm a gamer and love to play and my computer works pretty good with the 41 version but when i play Counter Strike Global Offensive the game crashes and it sems like whole steam crash so i have to restart the computer all the time to fix it for a while then i't happening again and again.
When the 9879 update being installed i have to restore my computer all the time and i'm talking about 3-4 times in ONE week.
If anyone know's what i can do please tell me i really wanna fix this problem.
Thanks!

What a mess they make.

Yet, still much nicer than Windows 8.  ;-D

Scott stop living under a rock and use git bash or just about any other unix emulation console (Cygwin has a nice one too).

With regard to the features, wordwrap makes things extremely confusing and it's not like you could turn it on per executable; seems like 9999 line buffer is still the way to go. Oh and... IT WAS THERE BEFORE!

You could copy paste before (just as you could Ctrl tile ANY number of windows on the screen vertically and horizontally in WinXP before they removed it in Vista).

Where the hell is support for ANSI colors? (tired of installing ansicon just to be able to use tools properly). Honestly this is consequence of the stupid "well when things run on the console you're suppose to be an idiot and not understand what's going on, it's just magical compiler text flying woosh~" (aka. promoting developer laziness and incompetence)

Where's proper parity between tools folder depth and kernel folder depth; do I really have to go into 7zip FM or use npm rimraf every time I want to remove a very deep node_modules folder? Support your own damn tools microsoft.

With how terrible and slow everything is moving along I have a feeling the entire windows project codebase is just a giant swamp at this point. At least with regard to some of the basic features they're trying to add. I wouldn't be surprised if even changing the text on one button throws QA into defcon 2.
