Cranberry cup is such a cute name for a competition

Alysa Liu baby... I know it's early but it was not a bad event with some pretty big skaters like Alysa Liu, You Young, Mariah Bell, and Amber Glenn. Some of these girls are going to be competing for a spot on the US Olympic team. I was mostly interesting in seeing Alysa Liu, I'm pretty sure she's going to be USA's top lady for the Olympics. I expected her to win and she pretty much dominated.

felt like they were overly cautious towards and during take off, which caused speed reduction and not enough power to pull it up. Hope with more confidence they could perform it consistently.

woww ladies figure skating really did evolved, back then we only see a triple axel being performed in big competition, and only mao asada is doing it. mao and yuna really did revolutionized the sport.

It's good to see more ladies doing jumps that are typically done by men and elevate the sport to a new heights but it has an ugly side to it but it's great to see more and more women doing 3A and quads which is very rare in the past. Yes, they fell but they'll soon master it. It'll just make the competition more interesting.

So game on !! - nice :) Indication so far: Absolutely nothing to worry about for the Russian ladies: CC21 completely void of quads and no clean 3As. But still early season, things can change for sure, we will see ...

It makes me so mad that now they have to attempt everything and fall just to get more points… I miss the old scoring system even more now … as an ex figure skater it’s painful to watch competitions … some nations are not in the game anymore

I prefer seeing elements the way they were intended. Yes the girls are struggling because it's a hard jump. Unlike the pre-rotated Russians with Bad inside edges
