You the leaders right there are what's wrong with Africa, and not the innocent poor citizens you're talking about. As you're making your presentation, right behind you are two MPs I suppose, who seem to be snickering and chitchatting and giggling, while you talk about a very serious matter. Your citizens are leaving because they've no hope in these countries characterized by incredible corruption, which leads to many citizens living in grinding poverty. You can blame the young people all you want, but you have a job and a salary and the young people have nothing. This is not the time to be blaming the victim. These people need rescuing and then ask them later why they decided to make such a perilous journey, and then find ways in which you can help them stay at home and make a living. If you develop your countries, you'll not need to teach your young people how to stay home and not go to Libya. They'll not want to go anywhere if their countries can offer them opportunities. That's what you should be talking about.

The speaker's name is "Abdul Rashid Pelpuo". The first thing he should explain is why he has the same name (Abdul Rashid) as those enslaving Libyans. Why do Africans have to come to the West to learn about the Islamic slave trade which has been going on in Africa nonstop for at least the last 1400 years. The African will butcher someone from another tribe but would NEVER think about revenge against Arabs or Whites who humiliate them. There are Lebanese and Syrians (and possibly even Libyans) who are making millions in Ghana and Nigeria. Many of the people elevate the biracial children of such unions as "most beautiful". You skin bleach at 77% rate in Nigeria, 55% rate in Cameroon, etc. And then you ask why? Low self esteem and corruption. If an Arab offered a Hausa-Fulani enough money he would kidnap and sell an Igbo girl as a sex slave in a heartbeat.

Your death in Libya is a dishonorable death but the death in Nigeria while fighting for your freedom is an honorable death. Ask Malcolm X, Martin Luther King. Nkrumah. Sankara. and all the freedom fighters whose death coursed a change.
