Great humour, including blowing the sawdust off. A first aid box and knowing how to use them is an important thing to have at all times and especially in a workshop. It looked a very solid build, and well designed around what you’d be putting 8n it. Nice video, thank you.

I agree about colouring the cross green. Perhaps you could consider where you may collapse if you are seriously injured by a tool and bleeding heavily, and put an easy to reach and access small 'trauma kit' based around a hemostatic dressing such as 'quikclot' at a low level?

Optimist or not, some 4X4 gauze bandages to help stop bleeding are in order. a saw cut usually needs more than a band-aid. A three foot length of rubber hose or a pre-formed tourniquet could save your life. I have reason to know, being a retired EMT ( Emergency medical tech.)

Put a small mirror in the box so you can see the bit of something you are trying to wash out with the eye wash

You will need to check your shelf-life(s) yearly !
Maybe add a sticky note on the inside of the door with the date of your last check.

How about a mirror on the inside of the door Matt? Handy if you get something in your eye. 👍🏾

great video Matt.i have a first aid kit in the house, having another in the garage would be good, so just recently i picked up a nice wooden one from a WMC that was closing down, i was told it dates back to the 60's

Ahhhh! I had to watch the optimistic bit twice to see what it was! I had a good laugh on that especially because they were so dusty. Bahhh! Love your channel. First aid box is a great idea and something that I need to make too. Thanks, Matt!

Nice job Matt, reminds me I need to get a first aid box in my workshop. Can’t rely on gaffa tape and superglue forever. 😆

Nice little project, with some neat ideas, thought you might have got some red wax crayons and melted them into the cross. 😀👍

Nice little project; it turned out very well. Hopefully you will never need to use the contents though. Best wishes.
