This reminds me of my mom who died in November 6th 2022 I miss her so much she saw this on top top of the pops together back in 1982 when we went to sell the house we saw this on top of the pops my mom sang the song all the time she was in England and this song reminds me of her hearing this and that's why I wanted to hear I forgot the name of the group was Captain sensible and the song is called happy talk but my mom love this song and she sang it all the time I really miss her everyday and without her my life feels like it's over I really miss her constantly she sang the song all the time and she kept happy and I certainly do miss her I miss her every day she died of covid pneumonia and I can't stop thinking of her and crying cuz it really upsets me that she is not here and I miss her

Everytime I see this it reminds me of 1982 when I went back with my mom to sell 6 coldbrook Avenue we went back together and when we arrived on it was Thursday night and it was top of the pops and we sat and watched this song it was the last song on the show and my mom fell in love with it and I wished I could have bought her the record because it made her day it would have probably helped me because at the time I was sick with my nerves and I didn't appreciate the time we had together her and me and I just feel so bad now that because she died November 6th 2022 and I'm really lost without her it hurts so much not having her around and everytime I hear this song or see this song I think of the time her and I had together in 1982 and I remember we went to wh Smith because I had a voucher from one of my relatives and I gave her the voucher and she bought a Peter skeleton tape and I bought Kate Bush and it was the kick inside by Kate Bush and I remember but when we first came back to from Florida she saw this video on top of the pops on Thursday and it was 1982 and we watched it live on the top of the pops it was this and she loved this song I miss you Mom I love you so much and this song makes me think of you whenever I see it I wish you were still with us I miss you dad and my brother John I miss you more than anything right now and this songs just makes me sad thinking about it❤🎉😂

I remember thinking Captain Sensible was awesome. I've just realised I was right! So funny and original and he had a good voice too.

The taller backing singer in the middle is Debsey Wykes, who many will remember for having joint lead vocals alongside Sarah Cracknell on Saint Etienne's hit "Who Do You Think You Are?"

The members of Dolly Mixture have great voices, especially Rachel and Debsey. A great band in their own right.

How many know it's from one of the great Rodgers & Hammerstein 1950s musicals "South Pacific"?
