Good we need an upgrade to the education system worldwide. About time that we can get educated in different ways.

I missed the college boat and was forced to get what work I could for what ever the pay was. Each job taught me something. Lesson number one the boss does not like to here the word NO. The day came when no one would hire me so I hired myself. At 55 I retired and watch YouTube videos when I take my breaks from what ever project I feel like.

just remember that dropping out isn't the best idea as many people who drop out end up with a minimum wage job, if u go to college have a purpose to go to college know what degree u r getting and use that degree and whatever u do don't get a student loan

I have a cousin with a chemistry that manages a Sheetz. Anecdotal. My ex is high school educted and has a midlevel position with Wells Fargo. Anecdotal.

EDUCATION IS FREE, it is called the library and internet.
All these people want is someone to give them a piece of paper to tell them they learned.
Like Good Will Hunting, you paid 100, 000 dollars for an education you can get in the library for 2 dollars in late fines.

2016 and they knew the system didnt work.. Definatelt 20 years before we knew we were heading for trouble when schools stopped teaching useful material and turned to P.C. indoctrination.. Students who dont know who fought in the civil war or why it was fought.. Even as basic as the number of stripes or stars on the flag..We have a useless generation without the basic skills to get a job..A trillion in debt for useless degrees.. As though all degrees were the same..We have gone from the Greatest generation to the Greatless generation.. And the country will suffer for it..

Free MOOC's like World Mentoring Academy & EdX [Harvard/MIT] prepare students for Credit-by-Exam [AP/CLEP, DSST, TECEP, NYU-SCPS etc] and several State Universities award Bachelors >$7, 000 Books & College fees. Hackathon's don't produce solutions. Most former hack winning ideas are not in existence longer than a year. As an Engineer with 40yrs experience, solutions come from Divergent individuals.
