Andor's Haunting Finale Changed Rogue One Forever

Rogue One already had an impressive and succinct ending but the post credit scene to Episode 12 of Andor just made it retroactively even MORE devastating. I love when shows enrich the already established lore, and Andor was no exception.

If you enjoyed this video, I'd love it if you would continue to check out more content on this channel. Thank you very much for stopping by :)

The name Andor it’s perfect for the series. It’s not just Casian, it’s Maarva too

Andor was almost a catalyst for the events in the series.

Really looking forward to see how they carry forward this amazing story they've created. Let's keep our fingers crossed they don't F it up 🤞

Your videos are very well made and I fully agree with everything you've said about Andor. This is truly the best piece of Disney Star Wars content.

Actually, this completes a theme for every major human member of Rogue One was associated both the creation and destruction of the Death Star:

Jyn’s dad: designed it
Melshi & Cassian: labor
Chirut/Baze: lost control of its fuel
Bodi: ferried parts or fuel related bic he knew Galen

It’s like with Dir. Krennic.

Even tho andor is the main character I feel like they could’ve named the show rebellion

Spoiler:

Factory workers on the Manhattan Project had no idea what they were helping to make:
The atom bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.

i think between the rewrites, reshootings and whatever other complications rogue one had, it ended up a very decent movie. its definitely not a masterpiece but its one of the few star wars films i enjoy rewatching.
like ive watched it more times than ive watched episodes 6, 8 or 9

Very strong review for the first season. I have some comments about how the second season skipped so hard it kind of assumed how characters would be when it should have had a few eps to elaborate on the mas/dom vibe of the facist copgirl guy (and the overbearing mom, who was SO happy her son died gallantly oof, lol I wish they had spent another 15 seconds on her joy) and then this guy is hooking up with a rebel girl and seems to care about her? Feels like 3-4 epis were cut out and the boom headshot lol wtf I wanted to hear him answer who he was. There were a lot of bad dating vibe scenes they glossed over. I am not kidding, the best answer Andor could give me was, "what the cop guy was thinking of himself as?" I aam at a loss, he was so lame and tried so hard, and bamf oops, he never had a moment to explain his self determination, bap woops headshot mofo - you ded!. He got straight-up tom clancy'd - perfect kill shot to the head by a man who's never fired a weapon in anger, but his hair was getting SUPER long, what was up with that?it felt like he was needing a release in the writing.

Possibly the show needed like 12-15 eps to get all the writing they intended, into it. 9 eps is a pretty long wang for a dog to hang anymore. 1923 cut off at lucky 7,

But I am so glad I knew it was c3-p0 kicking that truck through a wall, that is good "historys comes in rhymes" writing which I expect from lucas films. Literally the moment I saw that combat bot looking at Andor in the jail cell, I knew who it was and what would occur! Oliver Twist as a kill-bot hells yeah!

There is no more poetic writing than "the combat bot becomes a pacifist". I just need to find out that R2-D2 was a torture bot before being rebuilt. (if that is actually the real canon I apologize to the author of those star wars novels for them being easy to gauge how a trope plays out)

Eh, Star Wars isn’t that bright. I don’t buy the whole parallels poetry they rhyme crap. Don’t pretend that Star Wars up until now has been this big cohesive well thought out series because it has not been. That’s the reason we all love Andor is because it is saving the series after so much crap

I am so surprised to hear someone call Rogue One a masterpiece...
The story felt forced, some of the characters were very one-dimensional or inconsistent in their motivations.
It was the movie that made me quit the StarWars franchise.
