This is interesting, I have celiac and usually get lettuce wraps, an onion wrap is an interesting twist. Plus not having to pay the price for buns when I’m not getting them is a win

People always order this version, with lettuce instead of the onion, or tomatoes instead, but they could easily just make it with a tomato slice on one side and a slice of onion, then a slice of lettuce over that so the onion doesn’t fall apart, and the burger wouldn’t be over powered by having both sides of just one ingredient.

It looks so much better when people make it at home, they use thicker slices of onion so it properly hold the burger

Basically a burger with no bun. I sometimes remove the bun anyway so I see this as a win.

I feel like this with rice would be 👌🏾🤌🏾🔥🔥🔥!!! Because in The Philippines, there’s already something sold in restaurants that’s similar to this called “Burger Steak”, which is popularly available at a fast food restaurant named _✨Jollibee✨, _ which is The Philippines’ answer to McDonald’s.
Simply put, it’s a burger patty, dressed with a pouring of mushroom and gravy, served on a bed of rice!… 🤤🤭😮‍💨🇵🇭✨

That sleep over story is why my parents never really let me stay over other peoples houses. I was upset as a kid cause I wanted to spend the night at my friends house but they were protecting me cause you never know. People stayed at my house though often.

What I do is take a protein style and then shove the Flying Dutchman inside it. It’s a lot of onion but man is it good

I think if they put the cheese on both sides the onions will stay just as on the cheese side in this video

I had it today for the first time and loved it! Turned out to be keto too which makes my diabetes and eating disorder happy. It claims to only be 380 calories, which blew my mind on account of all the cheese! Next time I'll definitely cut it into 4 pieces and eat it like that, it's absolutely not car food. But I really enjoyed it ♡
