Elana Fertig, PhD a Professor of Oncology and Professor of Biomedical Engineering. She is the Division Director of Oncology Quantitative Sciences, Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Fertig advances a new predictive medicine paradigm in oncology by converging systems biology with translational technology development. Her computational work combines mathematical modeling and artificial intelligence for biomarker development and understanding molecular mechanisms of therapeutic resistance and disease progression from multi-platform genomics data. Including developing methods, software and applications for the analysis of single cell and spatial transcriptomics.
