Singapore will continue to invest heavily in developing tech talent, despite global giants cutting tens of thousands of jobs. Communications and Information Minister Josephine Teo said that other firms like Accenture and PayPal have committed to hiring and providing on-the-job training to a thousand workers this year. She added that workers with such highly specialised skills remain in demand, especially in growth sectors like the green economy.

The biggest sector of Singapore's economy is the rental industry now.
The wages and salaries of Singaporean workers already hit the peak. Naive if you think Singapore can continue to draw in good quality FDI, 90% of it will just be "flood water", which are fast flowing.
Why?
Because the next industrial evolution will be for the big player. Medium-size players will be struggling and tinny-size ones, such as Singapore, will be eating grass.
Ha ha ha!
