The loving relationship between Bithiah and Moses has always been the highlight of the movie for me; she loved and raised him without spoiling him, while making sure that he also knew how to respect his unknown Hebrew heritage.

It was a dangerous risk she took when she found and adopted him, but she's a brave woman.

Her character also makes me think of my own mother.

Any scene between Bithiah and Moses is my favorite.

Bithiah clearly raised him well: she loved him, but didn't spoil him, teaching him to respect even the slaves.
