"I'm just the guy who puts dots on a paper, it means nothing". I'm yet to see someone as humble as this man.

His humility is astonishing... Such a fantastic genius and talent he was given, and yet he is a such a kind, benevolent, humble individual. Simply amazing. His attitude should be a model for others who become successful.

The great German composers Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss would be proud of John Williams I am sure.

Obviously, John Williams didn't say "I'm gonna kill 'em with this one" when he came up with the JAWS theme. But I'm sure he knew the theme was going to work, and all he had to do was convince Steven Spielberg that it would work. I've read or heard somewhere that Spielberg didn't "get" the theme when he first heard it, but after JAWS I don't think he ever doubted John Williams again!

His words and his music comes from higher consciousnes. You can really hear it. He is great mentor, great person. For me, he is something like archetypal hero from Joseph Campbell teachings. This man is following the light and teaching us about it.
