Cabinet Door Frame Coping and Sticking # 179

I recently was asked by a local high school industrial arts instructor if I could help them out by machining some cabinet door parts for a student enrolled in one of their advanced wood technology classes. So this is a quick video of the machining of the coping and sticking process.

I used my cheap camera mount head strap and my Canom ELPH 70 IS powerShot camera.

I'm not sure if you will see much of this type of footage in future videos, I'm not that impressed with what the camera sees, but it may take some more practice on finding the correct angle.

I think the head cam worked out fairly well. Beats having to set it up just so. It let us follow all you were doing. Thank you for sharing!

Very nice! You should do a video on how you dress your lumber

Your process for making the cope and stick is really slick. would you mind doing a video on how you setup your head? And your fence...it seems to have a "spring loaded" toe area? Whats that about? And thanks for all the videos!!!

I love your videos!  Thanks a ton.  I have to ask, that is a Shaper your using right?  And are you using a simple mortise and tennon bits?  If so, how would I approach putting a beaded edge on them also?  Do you have a video on that?  Im planning on purchasing a nice table saw this winter...  Id love to learn just half of what you've forgotten about wood working!  You my friend are good!

Was wondering about the cope master, does it ride on the plexi-glass dust shield? Did not look like it was riding in the table slot.
