one is, with JavaScript we can do advanced raster(specially) and vector(optional) analysis

two is, with python with geopandas, TenserFlow and etc we can do machine learning aided analysis on geo data with visualization and all (included support with google earth engine as well)

GIS professionals (or students) don't accept low pay jobs in GIS. I see companies offering less than $20 bucks an hour for GIS position - come on, one can make more than $20 waiting on tables.

I wouldn't bother getting into GIS if you don't want to be a programmer. You will need to be able to program for most low level jobs nowadays.
