Why £26 from Reading to Paddington? What's the explanation for that? Doesn't make any sense to me. I went from Victoria to Kent and paid less than that for a return ticket, and sometimes flying to another country would cost me around £26, and Reading is just there around the corner. I'm baffled !!!

One under-mentioned thing is that for people my age we can use our Freedom Passes on the entire line. When it's opened all the way through I'm gonna do Reading to Shenfield for no other reason than because I can 🙂

The current price from Reading to Paddington is just under £23. Why are we now paying more for the same journey? Disgrace!

Hopefully the central part between Stratford-Whitechapel will open later this year. And I can’t wait to ride on the new Elizabeth Line and I have been on the Class 345 lots of times.

£26 for a tube ticket seems high but maybe I am out of touch with London prices, since paying £21 for three small glasses of wine in 1990.

On behalf of the rest of the country, I'm so glad London had 18 billion spent on it. You guys always seem to be bottom of the queue. Well done.

Most of these stations have already been there for years- connected via TflR.

Adding few new stations and naming it EL? 20 Billion for this?

Do TFL own the trains between Paddington to Reading, I'm guessing not as it is a train out of London
