In this video, we walk the North Wall Breakwall and check out Ballina Head Lookout's view, known as a beautiful spot for whale watching during their migrations.
My brother took us to Evans Head for lunch, and after finding fish and chips, we headed to Shark Bay National Park t enjoy our lunch before strolling the break wall there.
Our day was topped off with a scenic drive home through National Parks, sugar cane fields, and idyllic country roads.
This was the perfect way to spend the day with some of my precious family, and they were terrific tour guides.

The ocean views are so beautiful! I think I'd like to go out on the breakwaters. That little bird was so cute - I bet he was hoping for a snack. I'd love to see the dolphins in person in their natural habitat. Seems like a it was a nice day exploring!

Bellina Head Lookout is lovely. Wow! That breakwall looks pretty scary but Shark Bay looks amazing. Are there any sharks? Thanks to your brother for doing the driving and travel brilliantly!

One thing I like in a road trip is you can stop anytime and anywhere you like, The north wall break wall looks amazing stroll and I love you saw the dolphins.

That water is pretty clear! Nice of him to go fetch your hat. 😁 Fun giant prawn sculpture! So cool you got close to a kookaburra; made April think of the nursery rhyme song! Wayne likes break walls; better to fish off of, he says. We saw sugar cane fields in Guatemala!

Always good to see some dolphins. In regards to break walls, it would be good to have some paths on them. However, I wonder if that is safe to do so, in case the sea / ocean would be rough I can imagine it wouldn't be safe to walk on them. The final scenic drive looks good as well.

Looks like a great day for a road trip. That is a good idea to have paths on the breakwalks. In my area we have them but there are no paths on them. I bet no one thought of that idea. Keep posting videos

Good to see The Big Prawn is still there! We drive from Sydney to The Gold Coast every year (managed to squeeze that trip in last April but didn't make it there in 2020) and a few years ago we did have to drive through Ballina so it's sad (but I guess good in the fact the drive is a lot quicker now...?) that travellers bypass it now. Also, I can't believe how close you were able to get up to that kookaburra!
