A little trick from an old wall paper hanger. If you over lap the vinyl just a bit then lay a straight edge on it, then cut both pieces of vinyl. The seems are perfect. They lay in beautifully.

Did she just use a razor knife to cut the vinyl on the counter top? I hope the vinyl turns out OK because there is big cuts on the counter tops now.

I would of tried to get wider so then you could have put it on the counter a different way

It's really nice, if it was me I'd go with epoxy, this stuff is so hard to put down, I tried it once, and I decided that I don't wanna do it anymore, so hard and gets dirty quickly, also whenever you wanna remove it, just expect a bunch of adhesive all over your countertops, so I suggest you to the goo gone, it helps a lot
