Diego's Time Stop is weird in All Star Battle

His time stop is super weird and im not sure if its intended or just bugged.

UPDATE: This is now fixed in the new patch from today, Diego can only GHA out of stopped time

I think is bc of the horse, the diego au GHA use his horse for it, and the horse suffer the TS effect

I guess the lore reason is that the horse can't move in stopped time, but I think there should be a way to activate GHA off the horse specifically during timestop, cause it feels like a real disadvantage that he can't use gha but all other time stoppers can (though diego is already busted so idk if he needs it lol)

Well actually there's perfectly logical reason for it. Diego's gha requires his horse, but horse can't move within stopped time therefore this restriction is correct. However him being able to summon a horse when opponent moves within stopped time is broken, basically a glitch they didn't think about.

Simple, when someone else joins the timestop, Diego realizes he needs to do something now, so he has the world throw his horse at the opponent to start the gha

this is no deeper than the horse cant move within stopped time and it was clearly an oversight that it can when another TS user activates TS. very clearly just a bug lol

maybe they wanted to prevent the "stopping time twice" thing and when someone else stops time you can use it bc of a bug

It's because canonically the horse is frozen like everything else in the time stop, which is why Diego is unable to activate his GHA since it requires summoning his horse. Being able to use the horse during the time stop was a bug and the devs have been trying to patch it. They just wanted a canon accurate Parallel Diego really, nothing deep about this.

This makes no sense, when someone else uses their ability to move in frozen time, things are still frozen but now you can do a GHA as Diego.

Aight so, theory crafting:
Devs didn't want horse moving in Ts because _horses dont move in Ts_ . So they made it so horse doesnt move in ts. Wow

When second character Ts' however, both charcters are able to move freely, in the same manner as if time hadnt stopped at all. So the game files might just cancel the Ts as a whole instead of having both activated. So the horse just moves freely, since, according to the game, inside the double timestop period "time just isnt stopped at all". The line of code that would restrict horse usage within Diego Ts is canceled together with the Ts status itself
