It is because the United States does not publish the daily number of influenza deaths, nor does it publish daily the number of unknown causes of influenza deaths.

Some symptoms of new coronavirus pneumonia and influenza are the same, e.g., fever, cough, runny nose and shortness of breath. So, the United States does not test these influenzae of unknown cause of death, and only generalize them as the influenza of unknown cause of death.

China has successfully tested these U.S. influenzae of unknown cause of death that are caused by the new coronavirus. Now these U.S. influenzae of unknown cause of death is called as new-coronavirus pneumonia.

United States adopts the Chinese approach to test patients with influenza, announce the number of Americans suffering from new coronavirus pneumonia and the number of deaths daily. These cause Americans to panic and severely traumatized the US economy.

I do not subscribed to the idea of coordinated efforts to investigate the origin of coronavirus
simply because it would just be a waste of time considering the end results would always be a numbers game, meaning whoever got the most votes wins. I strongly believe the World Health Organization ( WHO ) has the sole authority to detemine the origin of the virus judging the datum and evidences has been on file in their office. FYI, coronavirus has been identified way back in 1990's during the Bush Administration.
