After living through Katrina, why would anyone still live there? The place is literally below sea level and levels keep rising overall. Sounds like they’re just waiting around for the next disaster.

Look. I understand being frustrated with the city’s flooding systems, but to even compare it to Katrina shows just how “soft” people are in 2021. This isn’t just a New Orleans problem. I swear people need to move somewhere else for a while and see the bs other cities deal with too.
