I bought my Sony A6100 today. I compared it with Canon R50, Sony ZV E10 and Canon R10 and chose A6100. I got the body, kit lens and zoom lens 55-210 mm, a SanDisk 128 GB Pro memory card and a Camera bag altogether 790 USD in 2024 from Amazon.

One correction: Sony a6100 has unlimited 4K recording just like its big brother a6400. There is no 30 min recording limitation on this camera.

My husband has bought me this camera for Christmas—I helped him choose it!—so I am trying to learn as much about it as I can before I “unbox” it on Christmas morning. 🎄 Thanks for the heads up about image stabilization. I mean, we’re going to use it for vlogging, so that WILL be important, but I am hoping that the fact that you are NOT limited to 30 minutes video time and can charge directly as you shoot will make up for what it lacks.
