New 2021 M1 iPad Pro Unboxing 12.9' - 2 TB Space Gray

Just a simple unboxing and setup of the new 5th generation 2021 iPad Pro 12.9" with M1 chip and Liquid Retina XDR display. This is the space gray version with 2 TB of storage. I am a 100% mobile video editor so that extra storage is going to come in very handy. Viewing and editing HDR footage will be nice on the new XDR display with nit 1000 nit sustained and 1600 nit peak brightness.

Great video, but I got a question, so I just got the gopro hero 9, and I have lumafusion on my iPad mini 5th gen which i love the mini since it doesn’t take up space for my bag, but My question is will the 5k videos be able to work on it too or what iPad would you recommend? Sorry if it’s a dumb question.

I literally went to all stores and none of them even received stock here in my part of Canada. So I ordered it at Apple (June 28th - July 8th) and BestBuy which it seems like they have stock ready to ship. I guess we’ll see. Thanks for the savouring video.

Nice unboxing, this does look like the iPad we have all been waiting for. Just for the screen alone. But the price is just to high, unless they come out with a IOS update (WWDC is right around the corner) that adds a much better file management system and pro apps like Final Cut Mobile. Otherwise a new MacBook Air is a better bargain for most content creators, because by the time you buy the iPad, Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil 2, your way beyond the price of a Macbook, which is more capable at this point. That being said I can't wait to see what you can do with awesome iPad.

Amazing tablet. However doesn't utilize the power of the M1. So besides being faster it doesn't really provide anymore use than the previous ipad pro for an average user. Hopefully Apple integrates more MacOS/Full desktop features into the IpadOS heading into the future.

Wanted to buy the ipad. But spent my 'new hardware' money buying the Crypto currency dip 😛🥲 Probably a better investment in the long run haha.
