Raymarine Axiom + unboxing and start-up - What is in the box, how does it work, getting started

In this video, we unbox a Raymarine Axiom 9+. We have a look at what you get in the box, what happens when you first turn the unit on and take a look at Lighthouse Charts.

We have decided to upgrade the Raymarine C80 to an Axiom and this is the first video in that process. We upgrade the software on the Axiom, take a look at the dashboard options, look at Lighthouse charts and get them installed on the display.

Hi. I installed the Axiom Plus. It is a great instrument at the helm, powerful. However the Wifi function for linking with a tablet or iPad is unstable. You will need it for your passage planning below deck. Cheers

Will this replace your open plotter setup?

Hi. I am having trouble with the heading of my compass for my P70 automatic pilot. I guess there is a data conflict in the NMEA with the GPS from the B&G VHF V60B GPS and the Axiom GPS. Any idea if I can deactivate the sattelite/GPS in Axiom Plus? Cheers from Nieuwpoort.

I'm very disappointed in the installation instructions .I have to buy a transducer and cable which I feel for this amount of money should been included!! so I would never buy this ever again but now I'm stuck with it
