Excellent video Alex on "club face manipulation!" I especially liked your right hand analogy to tossing a ball. If the palm is pointing straight ahead, slightly left or right affects the clubface at address and at impact. I will definitely implant this into my subconscious for future use! Hi Alex, always enjoy your uncomplicated drills. I’m trying to stamp out left pointing divots (I’m a right hander) on shots to greens which lead to widely miss hitting greens in regulation. I work hard at it and I achieve some degree of success, but I can’t seem to be able to eliminate them altogether or at least, reduce the degree of “left miss”. Do you have drill I can work with to fix the problem? BTW, my age is also a bit of a challenge on flexibility. Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you

Great video Alex ... a problem I found I've had is a tendency for the club face on my woods (including driver) to close a bit as I close my hand on top. So I open the face a tiny bit before, especially with the driver.

I try to do this when I'm playing. When I used to play 5 days a week, it was money. Ball went where I wanted it too. Save for a few bad ones
But now, only playing 1 or 2 times a week, I feel like I'm trying to do what I used to but it's not always working out. Just don't play as often as I used to. I know that's one of the biggest differences in my game currently.

I thank you for this tip! My issue is a straight push, 25 to 30 yards right. Driver and woods, irons are straight to 5 yards left of center. Any ideas? I find a lot of fairways, 6 hand cap, just want to fix my miss! Cheers mate

Hi Alex, a great simple and useful tip. Thank you. It’s somehow always been part of my pre shot routine to point the club in line where I want to hit the ball however I’ve never really checked the head position until I’m at address. Will test this tonight at my local range. 👍😎🇦🇺
