The Longest Johns | Blood red roses

After a long and arduous few weeks writing, we decided to treat ourselves with a trip to see the HMS Victory and HMS Warrior in Portsmouth. Great day was had but unfortunately, we couldn't film inside. So here is a classic shanty with a classic 'find something cool and sing in-front of it' approach. We'll be back to days of editing and costumes soon enough :)

Misread the title as 'Blood red noses' and was severely disappointed upon realising the longest Johns will not be venturing into clown music any time soon

Always enjoyed this one. And wonderful though the six-thousand-strong community projects and the more elaborate music videos are... it's always a treat to see you can show up, sing anywhere, and still have it sound great. Good lads!

@TheLongestJohns - thought i'd mention that my mother worked on the victory whilst replacing the hammock netting and breaching ropes, most of which were tied and prepared in my living room. she also worked on the rope and metal work on warrior a few times
