I hope they cover the Vendean Wars and Counterrevolutionary movement. The Catholic and Royal Army after all almost ended the Revolution when they came within a hair’s breadth of taking Paris. The Vendeans were largely a peasant army who rose up in favor of the King after he was executed, and the Revolutionaries started attacking the Church, instituting harsh conscription and imposing the illogical “Cult I’d Reason” in place of French Catholicism.

I hope it’s not just Monarchy bad Revolutionaries good because the truth was a lot more nuanced with most Frenchmen preferring a Constitutional or at least more moderate government. Louis XVI also wasn’t an idiot either but unlucky as he got screwed over largely by the idiocy of his grandfather Louis XV who shit the bed and left him to deal with the mess.
