PES 2019 | Pep Guardiola's False 9 Tiki-Taka Barcelona Tactics

Pep Guardiola's 2009/2010 False 9 Tiki-Taka style at Barcelona as requested.

Please note - Best Formation & Tactics and Manager tactics differ. Manager tactics don't always emulate that well into Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, whereas Best Tactics are best suited to PES using the players to their maximum efficiency!

As I've stated in the past, a False 9 for a lone central striker makes it difficult as there is no focal point. IMO, False 9 works best with a CF and an SS - where the SS will assume the role of the False 9.

Because players do not make runs into open space wich destroys your goal opportunity.

Put Center Backs a bit far from each other to cover Right and left wing center backs.


Use level 7 or 8 backup
Possession wide
Pressure agressive and wide.
Level 6 compactness
Maintain formation

Actually the real Falso 9 has the wingers moving forward, but Guardiola's, almost always Dani Alves attacked, and it was rare for Abidal to attack, Abidal was a more defensive side, practically made a line with Piqué and Puyol to make a line of 3

This is already similar to how I Set-Up but I dont push up Alba and Semedo that high ul the Pitch in Possession, plus I have Pique and Lenglet Spread out a lil bit more, while busquets drop deep. Attacking False backs and Tiki Taka, later changed to Wing Rotation.
You wanna be careful cause you get caught often with counter attacking teams (Man U, Liverpool, Man City) etc

I like the game, but I really feel it could be so much much much better. Like most of the problems I have are actually easy to fix, for example: the camera, the unnecessarily long animations, the frustrating passing mechanics.

If you play against a team that uses wide and long passes and a fast striker like werner you loose ...and ith a big score too

Can this same formation be used with a counter-attacking strategy and a tight marked Messi? I've actually been struggling since my opponents realize that I heavily depend and use my Messi very well. If not, please tell me how I could actually go about it? Keep up the good work!
