NEW 2024 Beretta DT11 DLC

Last year Beretta launched a new variant of the DT11 featuring a DLC coating on the action and barrels. We got our hands on one of the first guns during the World English and after a quick chat with Zach Kienbaum and Anthony Matarese who have both used this platform for years, I ripped it apart on a table to see what its all about and took it to Barbary to smash into a few clay targets.

Another excellent video! The DT-11 is a proven gun, but it's always interesting to hear guys like Matarese (who, recently switched to a SL2) extoll the virtues of the gun and then in a subsequent interview on another channel talk about how he never liked the width of the DT11 action, etc. While I appreciate their input as bona fide champions, it's always important to remember that job #1 is to sell guns. I don't think anyone at my level can go wrong with either, just interesting, nonetheless.

Another great in depth review of this world beating gun. I love the black action but the jury is out for me on the colour of the Beretta trident etc, I suppose it will grow on me. 🤔
Also like to thank Jonny for his time at the British Shooting Show on the Friday and we did have a little discussion about this review, I did mention that I had been lucky enough to go to the Beretta factory for a custom fit DT11, love it, thanks again Mr. Carter and keep the reviews coming they are great….

I have DT11 Black 2017 it has fired over 90K cartridges I have had it serviced last year apart from cleaning it only needed a small shear spring it’s the best gun I have every had well done video keep it up😊😊

Im glad you told us that you had a height of 6 foot 7 inches. That explains a lot. Like a hockey coach said "you can't coach reach" or Stalin's "quntity has a quality all its own". I'm a meager 5 ft 9. I make a 20 in my hands look like a 12 in yours.

Switched all my BCGs with DLC coated versions - increased lubricity is the draw but ease of cleaning merits notice as well. Amazing coating - works both inside and out!

Stunning, absolutely stunning. I need to have a proper look at the shooting show. Shot a Dt11 black edition Wednesday. (Carbon fibre rib/ trigger) Found it extremely fast. Might come and find you, you can talk me through a few things, how much weight can be added etc.

This is not a criticism directed only at Beretta, however... These prices simply cannot be justified. If you were a shooter of the level that would buy a DT11 you likely already have a very good shotgun. What is the motivation for the non-sponsored shooter to pay rack rate $13, 000+ USD to move (I won't say upgrade because that's a matter of opinion depending on what you're already shooting) to this DT?

I feel that the age of the price is no object mindset has come and gone and manufacturers need to start thinking about both performance AND value.

Lovely everything on this DT-11 EXCEPT The carbon rib most my friends have a Beretta with this carbon rib are not happy they come loose and fast . Requires black tape because the barrel pins fall out. Put the steel rib on this beautiful gun please!!!!
