Halo has one of the most critically acclaimed lineups of games in history. Nearly every game is a masterpiece. So clearly some people will like some games more than others. So I made the attempt to objectively rank all of these games.

I personally love halo 2s campaign the most, it has the best story and characters, and I kind of enjoy the brutal difficulty of legendary. Also I love the simplicity of the multiplayer, didnt really care for the equipment added in H3. Also the multiplayer map design in H2 was top notch. Even the glitches were most fun in H2.

In regards to Halo 5, I think that 343 to a MASSIVE step forward when it came to gameplay and such (how it felt to physically play, it was very nice) however they took a step or two backwards in regards to multiplayer maps and the campaign. Like, I love the idea of finally introducing a new Spartan, but just make the game about him. Don’t make us swap between two different Spartans.

Honestly despite the days of grueling through the legendary difficulty of the Halo 2 campaign in co-op I actually found that the legendary difficulty is exactly what people expect legendary to be and despite the difficulty it was really fun.

Honestly, the Halo Reach campaign was the best in the series, with it also being my favorite campaign. The only reason it's not my favorite is because the multiplayer was not really that good. Halo 3 is my favorite not only because of the campaign, but the multiplayer is practically the best multiplayer i have seen in a video game.

These are how Halo games rank when compared to OTHER Halo games. It is purely a comparison of games within the series. S tier is reserved for the PERFECT Halo game. Halo CE and Halo 3 do nearly everything right, and are considered master pieces within gaming. And that is what S tier is reserved for. A and B tier Halo games are still better than most other games on the market. I wanted to clarify this before I get flamed.
