Jinhao 9019 Dadao -Review

Spoiler alert, this is a great pen and well worth trying out. Same large number 8 size nib as the X159, but girthier. I compare this in size with the X159 as well as the girth of the grip section of Moonman / Majohn Q1. Massive converter that can hold (basically) an entire ink sample from Goulet pens.

I happy to hear you say good things about the Q1 mini. I too find mine very comfortable to use and because it’s so fat it sits on my desk and I end up using it more than a lot of others. I love wide sections and the 9019 is in my top 3 pens for comfort of use.

I have all three of the pens mentioned and love them all. I wish the Q1 posted a little more definitely and had the big boy nib of the other two.
The x159 I adore and for ages was my go to writer, but in my humble opinion the 9019 is just in a class of its own. For me it has no flaw.

This is a better pen than the Wing Sung 630 in terms of materials and build. The 9019 also has more girth and I find that it sits more comfortably in my medium sized hand.
