I didn't found this version on YouTube so i deside to shared it. It was recorded in the spring of 1983, during the sessions for Dylan's album Infidels, but was left off the album and officially released only in 1991 on The Bootleg Series Volumes 1–3 (Rare & Unreleased).
I think this is the best song he ever made.

I’m 76 years old and I can’t begin to say how much pleasure Bob Dylan has given me down thru the years.

This was a prophetic song written about the year 2025.

This is not really a song about Blind Willie McTell, but about the horrors of the Old South, which run through so much of his music. Makes my hair stand on end.

Whenever I hear someone say Bob Dylan can't sing, I play this song and tell them, "I don't know what you've been listening to."
If this ain't great singing, I don't know what is.

I know no one can sing ‘Blind Willie McTell’ like Bob Dylan.

The greatest outtake of the music history. Only Dylan could afford a such luxury.

This might the best Dylan ever produced to us. The blues, the text, the everything.

There are no words that can express how good this is

I love how Bob casually leaves out a song that would be the absolute highlight of most songwriters careers. Really puts into perspective the level at which this genius operates.

Just sublime. The very best of the greatest artist in the history of popular music.

If anyone ever tells you Dylan couldn't sing, play them this. If they still don't think he could sing, they just don't really understand music.

I have been listening to Dylan since 1964 but this is the greatest thing by him I have ever heard

Dylan raising the tempo in the final section with that piano stomp and pushing his voice close to breaking. A Master at work, his songs are like Carvaggio paintings. Power and greed and corruptible seed, those 6 words define a whole generation of American history. Dylan has made so many people aware of the importance of history. He also pushes us to examine the words, educate ourselves and appreciate poetry in music. Forever grateful.

Godlike genius. I could listen to this 50, 000 times and it would still affect me the same time as the first.
