The epic failure of diets is well documented. 6 out of every 7 people who are overweight or obese will lose a significant amount of weight in their lifetime, but 95% of them will regain all the weight they lost within 3 years. Of those, 1/3-2/3 will regain more weight than they lost. Why does this happen? The body has evolved to activate an elaborate self defense system to prevent you from starving yourself and this system predisposes us to weight regain. In this series, I will talk about how this system works and how to minimize the negative effects of the self defense system.

The red pill on diet right here. I always had a hunch intuitively that this was the case, the first time you diet is the easiest but the scariest part is the fear of gaining it all, and more, back. I’m going to binge watch all your videos now lmao great work!

I'm so with you on this. Looking forward to the rest of the series, and I grabbed your book too. Sustainability is everything. If people don’t enjoy how they’re moving, they start counting down the minutes or skip it altogether. I’ve always struggled with how often the industry pushes quick fixes that aren’t really solutions at all. This really hits home. Grateful for the work you're doing.

Don't go for a diet. Go for a lifetime nutrition plan that is comfortable for you and which will benefit your health and overall performance greatly in the long run.

This video changed my life. This whole serious is 100% true. You need to be insanely focused during the diet no binges no fucking around and be the exact same mindset on the rebound- but then you build your metabolism build muscle and you changed you’re entire body composition. This could easyily take a full year

As always. Awesome information. I love listening to your videos. You are the only person that I know that makes so much sense. I can’t wait for the rest of the series. I’ve been trying to loose weight and it’s so frustrating because after eating very healthy and working out six days a week I haven’t lost any weight at all. Hopefully you can help.

This series comes at an opportune time for me. I'm trying to lose again. Lost 40 lbs before. Ended up putting it all back. Eventually added another 10 on top of that and am now trying to lose more.

Down 25 lbs, but stalled already and not really sure precisely what to do since I'm already in a pretty calorie reduced state as it is, so this is exactly the kind of stuff I need to hear right about now.
