My personal musical taste is Jessie J... Demi is an amazing singer, but since Jessie J sang in the Chinese competition called The Singer edition 2018, for me she reached a category of singer where Beyoncé, Mariah, Celine and Whitney is placed. For me Jessie is The female voice of this decade! 😍

I am a Jessie J fan so here is my opinion:


I personally do not like some areas of Lovato's tone, especially when she does that "squeeze". Example: the climax of Stonecold.


Demi is very good with sustained belts. They sound very open. Honestly, slightly better than Jessie.


Jessie is better with dynamics, especially based on the R.O.S.E. album and the Singer performances. Her whispers and vocal fries are epic. Growls, oh man. She can growl every part of her range. Lows, mids, highs, even falsetto. And did you hear that F#5? Jeez. Runs are no contest. Jessie owns this area. Demi has too much jaw movement going on. And people also slag Jessie off for her "goat vibrato", but she does it consistently. Demi's vibrato sounds shaky at times, compared to Jessie's which is way more consistent, whether she is doing it fast or slow.


Lastly, I enjoyed this video, because these clips of Jessie were some of the best. She has way better examples of E5 (Ain't Nobody, Purple Rain) and F5 (Flashlight, Ain't Been Done), but great video all the same.

Obviously demi in this vs.demi kept support up E5 which Jessie did not.demi just have more ease on the top notes considering it's chesty mix.and let's not talk about how she slayed with the sorry not sorry A5.i Just think there should be better clips of Jessie. In real life there techniques are pretty much on par with each other.

Jessie J is amazing but doesn’t have the unique tone to make her stand out like demi does which is why demi is consider one of the best vocalist of this new generation her tone separates her from her peer same with ariana . But both are amazing
