It would be great to get the impressions of this game from someone who has played VTES before.

I'm interested but don't want to get into a game that requires a core set or 2 per player plus 36 expansions at $40-15 each to play optimally or have all of the options.

I just can't justify spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on one game when I can get multiple others for that same price.

Has there been any word on that yet or will I have to wait to see when it launches on Kickstarter?

While I have not played Game of Thrones, the political stuff, for me, sounds like it actually calls back to Jyhad or Vampire the Eternal Struggle, also in this setting and pre-dating game of thrones by at least a decade
