Only bought diced kangaroo once at Coles... but unfortunately I cooked it for too long and the meat became really tough. :( Maybe I will give Kangaroo stakes a go next time.

Have you ever tried crocodile or emu as well? I had it for the first time during my visit in Cairns. It was very delicious. The best thing I ever did was joining the Uluru Bush Tucker tour. This was quite an experience. I enjoyed Indigenous food even Witchetty Grub.

Kangaroo is my favourite meat. I like steaks, stewed with vegetables, minced in burgers, meat pies and even in lasagne. I once ate wallaby shanks it was great didn't know what I was eating was only told afterwards.

Can one get roo at restaurants? I'm going to be in Brisbane, Woodburn, Coraki (and anywhere else my cousins take me) in Sept. I'd like to try roo while there. It's quite expensive in the USA. People still hunt in Australia, right? What do they hunt if one can't eat wild roo? Razorbacks?

I wish Australia could export kangaroo meat to the United States.

That's gross Kangaroos are not too much as compared to humans so why don't we let lions and big cats do some help to the environment by reducing Human population also why would Kangaroos hard the soil as they aren't a farming tool its not there fault that humans invaded their home land
