This video is the third and last part of the series and explores how through the use of CRISPR Gene editing, the pig heart was made viable to be transplanted into a human body. More specifically, the video outlines a refresher on CRISPR biotechnology, how it works, how it was specifically used in the pig heart transplant, possible Implications or downsides of CRISPR, other current medical treatments and projects that are using CRISPR CAS9 technology.
