I'm the uk, you only pay back your loans if you are making 30k a year and even then it isn't much and when you turn 40, it is wiped away so you don't owe anything

Jokes aside people are rather ignorant of what it costs to get into some of these fields. Law/Medical in particular aren't cheap.

They also require an absurd amount of dedication and time.
