Wow! I was thinking Saguenay was a day-trip but there's at least a week's worth of things to see & do here.

We visited Saguenay, Quebec in October 2023. It’s a beautiful place, but whatever you do while you are there, stay away from their hop-on hop-off tour buses. It would be an expensive school bus ride with long distances in between each stop and self-guided tour during your 1, 5 hours ride. It’s very challenging to see anything through the school bus windows, plus the high seats would be blocking your view. There is no usual for hop-on hop-off buses pre-recorded guide, so you have no clue to what you are passing by. The few stops that the buses make, offer some attractions for additional price. There would be a couple of employees stepping in for a couple of minutes to explain you what to do during this ride, but they are not of much help. Overall it’s a poorly organised and executed, but expensive service.
