Eclipse | How to fix Version of the JVM is not suitable for this product. 2021

In this tutorial I'll show you how to fix this error in Eclipse: How to fix Version 1.8.0 of the JVM is not suitable for this product. Version: 11 or greater is required.
This Error usually occurse when your JDK is either outdated/incompatible, or when eclipse is not choosing the correct JDK. (for some reason it sometimes even tries to use JRE instead of JDK)


Text version of this tutorial:
UPDATING JDK
1. Head to the JDK download page
2. Download the JDK version that is compatible with your Eclipse (if you have the newest Eclipse version the newest JDK version should work)
3. Install it
4. Try starting Eclipse

If that didn't work, do this:

1. Go into the main directory of eclipse.
3. Open the java directory (it should be located in the programs folder)
4. When you are in the java folder, open the folder jdk - *the version of your jdk* and then open the bin folder
5. Copy the filepath
7. Type in -vm and press enter one time, then paste in the before copied filepath. (Caution you must put the file path in the new line, otherwise it won't work, so it's not for astetic purpose it must be done the way I showed in the video)
9. Save the file, and you are done.

As you may have noticed, I did a video on this already but I left a few things out/didn't explain the well enough, so here is a better version of that video

You may need to remove -vmargs *(removing -vmargs could limit your
functionallity though so be aware of that [that's why I didn't metion it
in the video])*

If you don't have an "eclipse.ini" file you may need to open a file
called ".eclipseproduct" I wasn't able to recreate this so I can not
garantue anything by doing it in there

In case my Solution doesn't work there is another solution, which is editing your system environment variables to make sure the path is there and in the correct order
