ACCUQUILT for machine embroidery: Quickly pre-cut all applique fabric

Показать описание

There are different ways of creating machine embroidered applique. You can cut the fabric in the hoop, using the lines stitched by your embroidery machine. You can also send the applique outlines to your cutter (the brother Scan N Cut takes it right from your embroidery machine) and another great way is using the accuquilt system!

There are a few things that make the accuquilt system awesome - and easy and fast are the first two! With the accuquilt system for embroidery applique you can pre-cut a lot of fabric at one time - super fast and it is all done with very little waste. You don't have to iron on any stabilizer or do anything else to the fabric other than to lay it on the die and crank it through. Easy is the second bonus to the Accuquilt system - you don't need a computer, you don't have to mess with any settings and anyone can use this system.

The last thing that I love about Accuquilt is the precision cuts that it makes - there are no frayed edges and no errors - each cut is perfect every time!!

Once you get all of your pieces cut, lay them all out on a table and play with the "puzzle pieces" . You will be surprised at what you come up with!
Keep an open mind, and try something new for machine embroidered applique - you never know how much you will love a new system!

You can create embroidery applique in a few different ways - and accuquilt can be one of them! I pre-cut all of my fabric and had everything ready to go at the machine. Check out this beautiful table runner that I created!

I don’t have embroidery software, but with the IQ Designer in my Destiny 2 I can scan the image and program in the satin stitch around each shape. Same concept another tool. Thanks again for sharing

Great video Sue - thanks. As I don't have an Accuquilt I could use my Scan n Cut instead to get shapes! Had it years and didn't think of that - getting old I guess!

There are two ways of creating the embroidery designs to send to your machine. Embrilliance has an add on pack that has tons of applique shapes. For creative and cute designs, you can go to accuquilt.com and they have the designs already done - and they are so cute (check out the cars and the pumpkins).
