In 2022, in a forum on my work, I respectfully pointed out that I don't need diversity /inclusivity when I start a business.

I stated that what's needed are:
- qualified personel
- motivated people
- honest workers.

I nearly lost my job...

I just came to look up this video because there is an ad on Twitter right now from Microsoft and it's literally using the words "equity and inclusion" lol

Let's be brutally honest here and say that cultural values are the key factor that plays on your contribution to modern society. You grow up respecting everyone around you because you are told that respect is a way to be a good person.. now flood this place with people who completely disregard your values and treat you with hostility because you don't actually 100% agree with their values; you go with the flow and in a couple of years your country feels as if you devolved 300 years in history because of that so praised acceptance towards others' opinions warped your way of thinking. Next thing you know, your women and children are being raped, your sons are getting addicted to drugs sold by the same people you accepted in your country, and you still need to pay respects to them and your tax money is making sure they can stay and continue the cycle. Explain to me how that is acceptable

Wow totally agree with Jordan. One of the college applications asked me write an essay on these 3 words. Now I'm thinking of not applying to this college

KSA or DIE.

If you’re a government worker or a veteran that has applied for a government job your qualifications are based upon KSA = Knowledge, Skills, Ability.

DIE = Diversity, Inclusion, Equity (Equity is not the same as Equality) does nothing to prove an individual’s Knowledge, Skills and Ability to do the job.

If a company feels compelled to add a DIE hiring manager or change their company logo to rainbow colors to pander to the LGBTQ group or DIE group, it’s perceived as patronizing and thus that company may have had prior discriminatory hiring practices.

Bottom line…any public or private company that discriminates against a person’s race, religion, sexual orientation, political affiliation, economic status, veteran status or disability is in violation of State and Federal employment laws. KSA or DIE. Teach your children well.

I think the desire for black representation in media is more about culture than individual relatable traits. I relate to characters that look nothing like me, so I doubt it's about physical features. But as an American I relate more to characters in American shows than, for example, Japanese ones, because of the cultural difference.

When I was interning for a new grocery store where the makeup of the community was 50/50, and the makeup of applicants was around 50/50, and there were 500-plus jobs available, I pointed out that we had not selected any black kids. The HR person in charge and the new store director said, oh no! we don’t see color. When the store opened, there was not a single black person hired. There was an uproar from the community and they ended up hiring people who never came for the initial 2 month hiring process.

When I hear guys like this, I cringe, because we end up with the makeup of that panel on stage in the workplace.

J.P. lost the argument dramatically, in the sense that the wide society is profoundly being reeducated in inclusion and diversity (equity is being skipped for now). At work place entire deparments with multitudinous beaurocracy is working on our minds. Training wide audience in interventions directed at bias and harassment. All good goals. It takes time to recognize evil that is hiding under well sounding words.
