Never used TICK charts -- does the common indicators still work out, such as MACD, Stochastics, Squeeze, etc. ?

I am new at trading. I know buy looking if we are in an up or down trend. My problem is when to enter n exit and how to place an order when I'm trading for that month to make a profit for that month. Please help
