On a beautiful day in Florida, officers responded to a Home Depot theft involving an employee who stole over ten thousand dollars in products within a week. The stolen items included wood, batteries, various construction items, and a case of candy bars. The employee conspired with his son to bypass security by not checking receipts. Loss prevention uncovered the scheme, and the employee explained how it worked. He was taken into custody and released after a few hours, receiving 12 months probation. Two others, including his 19-year-old son, were also arrested. Talk about family bonding! Support our channel by hitting the subscribe button, and we'll see you next time.

What I've learned from my time working at The Depot is that they're always watching the employees for theft. The customers are just a bonus. I've seen quite a few co-workers being walked out in handcuffs.

Everyone can see why theft continues when there is NO PENALTY for doing it!

There's no incentive for them to stop stealing when the punishment is zero to them just a shame customers and employees can't be trusted

I worked at Home Depot for 3 years, and one of the loss prevention associates was fired for stealing, yes loss prevention. The amount of theft I witnessed working there was ridiculous!

$10k theft and only got 12 months probation? No jail time, no restitution .... Not even community service?? If it was me I'd be in prison for 5 years and have to pay the money back .

Congratulations! People like that are one of the reasons why we as consumers have to pay more for merchandise.
