Actually, saying that Soviet cars were all bad is an ignorant generalization. Some of the models are sought after by collectors to this day. Even Seinfield used one of those in his show that has something to do with cars and coffee

Thats crazy! A People's History of the United States is my favorite book! I read it in high school and have read it 2 more times since then.

This should be a must read in EVERY school.

I'm reading this book now... This book looks at a lot of history through the eye of the less fortunate and is really what you don't hear through most historians. Love it.

Howard Zinn is a historian that I have a lot of respect for. I don't think his books should be used as a public high school textbook. But I don't think that's what is happening. I think they are talking about banning his book from public high school libraries.

I've read the book, it absolutely has an agenda, but I still believe that it was enlightening in its own way and I think that it has its place in classrooms.
