Filmed and recorded live in Paris on 14 October 1999, David Bowie performs 'Something In The Air' from his 22nd studio album 'Hours'. The concert is notable for being recorded the same day Bowie received the rank of Commander in the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government for his contributions to art and music. The full concert was released as 'Something in the Air (Live Paris 99)'

The day before he played at the tv show of canal plus NPA where i worked as cameraman... That's the second time he came at the show....for me it was just magic and one of the best day of my life...i've met so many rock star in this show but David....!!! I met him personnaly and he was so cool...and at the end of the show he gaves us free ticket for this show in the little place so beautiful and mythique L' Élysée Montmartre where only 1500 people could come....My God what a concert....!! I saw him many times but this one was just over all i could see in my life...!!!!

David and his band are Awsome. The band, as they support his singing, they create their musically music. they support his Awsome singing. They are like a hand in glove. Everything one of them has God giving talent(s). I am always blowed away listening to him sing and the band playing their instruments. He voice can carry so many ranges.
