USS Gunston Hall Departs For SD24

The Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44), departs Naval Station Norfolk commencing operations for Steadfast Defender 2024 (SD24), NATO's largest exercise since the end of the Cold War decades ago.

Steadfast Defender will demonstrate NATO's ability to deploy forces rapidly from across the Alliance to reinforce the defense of Europe.
